Our Mission

Recognizing that the ability of any group to live harmoniously within a diverse society is based on mutual understanding and respect, the mission of ILEARN is to build bridges of understanding between Muslims and other Americans through education, consulting, referral services, and other resources in order to promote tolerance of diversity, co-operation, and cultural sensitivity in our American society.

Our Objectives

Many organizations that serve and/or employ American Muslims perceive a need to increase their knowledge about this poorly understood population. ILEARN educational programs meet the following objectives:

1. Present accurate information about Islamic beliefs and practices.
2. Provide tailored information about Muslims as it relates to the specific needs of the audience.
3. Foster a sustainable relationship between public institutions and the Muslim community.
